Desjardins Securities

For the past 18 years, Desjardins Securities has been a first-rate partner of the Foundation. In addition to holding its annual Commission Day, during which the organization’s investment advisors donate their commissions for the day to the Foundation, several fundraising initiatives, including the sixth edition of the Desjardins Securities golf tournament, were organized this year to mobilize the Desjardins Wealth Management team. The involvement of its leaders, employees, partners and clients has helped Desjardins Securities raise $548,471 to support our cause during the 2019-2020 season.

Their generosity and dedication play a definitive role in allowing the Foundation to attain its objectives. Since 2003, more than $7.5 million have been donated to the Foundation by Desjardins Securities.

Rio Tinto

For the last eleven years, Rio Tinto has been organizing a fundraising event to benefit the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation. Now held in the Windsor Station, this evening always charms and entertains many guests. During the event, there is a silent auction, a live auction, a sale of mystery items, and a performance of a renowned artist. Several members of the Canadiens organization are on hand, from current players to Canadiens Alumni as well as members of management team.

So far, more than 2.6 million dollars has been raised through this benefit event. The Foundation wishes to thank Rio Tinto for their commitment and dedication to making this event a success and for their dedication to help children in need. This association with Rio Tinto, a prestigious corporate partner, shows the interest of the Quebec business community towards the work of the Foundation.

The Face à face des célébrités Ford powered by CKOI takes place at the Bell Centre at the beginning of the spring season. Two teams formed of Quebec personalities from different backgrounds compete in a “friendly” hockey game. There are generally 14,000 people present to watch the game between the red and the white teams.

For the sixth consecutive year, Ford dealers throughout Quebec and Ford Canada contribute generously to the event. Also, CKOI is a great partner for animation and promotion before and during the game, as well as for the recruitment of personalities with heart and enthusiasm.
